What the fuck? Blazblue had this, Guilty Gear had this, even SKULLGIRLS had this, why can't I play with other people in the lobby? How is this allowed? How is this defended?

And what's even worse is that there is no way to communicate with other players. in Xrd, you could type and use voice. In SFV, all you got is shitty pre-determined words. Capcom dropped the ball big time with online. Xrd does everything better when it comes to features.

My online experience with Xrd has been so much better than SFV. I can play with anyone in Europe and get 3-4 frame delay. In SFV, sometimes playing people in my own country leads to rollback and lag spikes.

I met a lot of cool people on Xrd online by talking to them. Capcom uses their own servers in SFV so you can't even add people to Steam/PSN friend list.

3-4f variable delay is unplayable to me. I've never seen less than 3f delay, even against people only a few miles away.

I'll gladly take rollback on poor connections for the extremely low delay on good connections.

Really wish they'd just license out GGPO. You can't beat that netcode.

it's still a really hacky way of going about it, but that's what happens with natively console games
