The 390 is a fair bit more powerful than the 970. I don't know why people compare them.
>>
Why do people buy Nvidia hardware?
>>
>>333674481

same reason some men like seeing their wives fuck black bulls...
>>
>>333674481
Why do people buy shitty console ports?
>>
>>333674603
Because they want to play the games and they play better on decent hardware than they play on consoles they were originally released on?
>>
>>333674481

Same reason people buy Apple products, they will spend more shekels for inferior hardware just because of the brand name
>>
>>333674481
Because everytime I buy an AMD card I am basically being shat on. Not one AMD card I have bought was worth a shit.
>>

With higher performance and a lower price tag?
>>
>>333675481

Funny how you provide no example

you mean better specs sure but runs every game like shit

I wanted to try team green for once, haven't had any serious problems with my HD 6870. No serious problems so far with my GTX 980 either.

Nvidia has been so much faster with drivers for new releases. Though I it is fairly rare for me to buy AAA titles day 1.

For the money I might have been better off waiting a little more for the 390 or 390X. I will be especially devastated if Maxwell suffers driver neglect like Kepler.

New cards are meant to be more powerful, but when cheaper AMD cards of the same generation far outperform their more expensive Nvidia counterparts it would be obvious they are gimping them.

I might switch back to AMD once 14nm matures as it is too early to upgrade, granted AMD don't fuck it up of course.
>>
>>333674481
Because it's cheaper in most of Europe except shitholes like Spain

Prepare to laugh nvidibros

>>333679784
They're actually defending the shite performance on their own card just to say they finally have a win over nvidia.

A nice 500 mhz oc to that 970 will leave the 390 in the dust and they all know this.

Because they're generally a lot more advanced and have higher budgets than anything developed exclusively on PC?

Quantum Break is pretty sophisticated on a technical level, if the PC port wasn't shit it would be a technical showcase for the platform.
>>
>>333674481
Because Nvidia cards generally get better day-one performance. But it's not like Nvidia is known for intentionally sabotaging games in order to cripple AMD cards or anything.
