Just finished NWN1:SoU. I was pleasantly surprised. SoU always seemed to be that expansion that was forgotten. Everyone either played/talked about the OC or HotU, and SoU was the "oh yeah it was okay, but HotU was much better" module. Even I pretty much skipped it back then, and I played the game at launch (mostly in multiplayer through).

A good premise that's really open to lots of smut potential. If you don't gind out how to do that, you can make a character in Near Death status instantly go prone and join a faction that isn't hostile to anyone. Might need some attention to large amounts of damage, but that's how it works in tabletop too, -10 is instant death.

They feel too artificial and utilitarian. The starting area has a castle, a store and a barracks, only other building is a stable that has no interior.
The city also doesn't feel real, it's a bunch of scattered buildings, too much empty space and no houses at all.

If you ask me, only spellcasters are really enjoyable in NWN1. Rogue and similar can barely use sneak attacks because followers can't tank for shit, and fighters is mostly just autoattack/knockdown/power attack.

PRC won't work with Aielund and breaks a few modules but works with a fair amount of them. It generally doesn't work CEP because the CEP developers are fags and make it hard for things like the PRC Pack to work with them.

open locks and disarm traps are your most important skills, the majority of your exp will come from doing those two things. All the combat areas will usually give you a bunch of guys to act as your meat shields so you can use your feats to get skill focus in those two things. Power attack and dual weilding is still useful though.
Assassin is an adequate prestige class but rogue/fighter rogue/ranger are decent as well.

I got through the first chapter without paying much attention to combat, usually your companions are enough for the job.
The most important part is outside combat, disarming traps and picking locks. These give a lot of xp, and it usually falls to you, so make sure you can always do the job.
Besides that, just build your character keeping a rogue in mind, you will be sneak attacking, and fleeing if you draw aggro. As such, try to maximise your damage, downplaying defense a bit.
Also, when you create your character, 8 con means the princess is meek and flat, 10 won't get you many comments about your body, and 12 con means everyone will stare and compliment your big boobs.Sadly it stops there, no dialogue for 14 con

Several different "factions" in each different area of the city. Lots of playing them off each other, doing whatever you can to get ahead in the world. Lots of companions, a sort of loyalty/affection system (that I had no idea how to go about making), your "companions" could turn on you and rat you out or steal a big score from you.
I talked to a few people who offered to help me out with the scripting, I was good at writing and competent at level design, but ultimately it was scrapped.

You already have some restrictions to minimum DEX and CHA. You can't gimp on INT too much either, because you will need a ton of skills. You don't have much left, specially if you want 14 con for tits.
If you are going to keep stats low, it will have to be either str or wis (or con if you want DFC), which are appropriate considering you start as a sheltered princess.
I wouldn't multiclass to anything besides Shadowdancer or Assassin, you need those rogue skills. If you have a hard time disabling traps and detecting them, you are fucked.

As for NwN2 PWs, there are a few interesting ones in development. There's SCoD (Planescape based) that's less hardcore RP and has loads of custom content. There's a few Forgotten Realms based ones (I wouldn't recommend Baldur's Gate). I've been messing around on a Steampunk one lately that does massive engine overhauls called Engines of Acension (it has an Arcanum feel to it).
