The best feature of GMTower was the fact it was a melting pot of many videogames. Now that they can't do that it just doesn't feel the same.

It's a gimped version of a popular Garry's Mod server, all copyrighted material has been removed and replaced with bland, ugly assets.
I'm holding out hope but it feels like garbage at the moment. I spent about threeish hours on the game (I mean it's only been out three hours), and a majority of that time was trying to get into any lobby server that would take me. Most of the time, it crashed.
It looks nicer. So there's that.
Most of the games are unfinished or buggy. Mini-putt feels worse to play but it's prettier to look at -- hopefully better swing control will be added.
The worst part of GMod Tower 2.0 is the interface. The stores lack so much content it feels. Buying items to customize your character...it's hard to find out where to do this.
On top of all of this is the fact that the world is about 20% complete, game-wise, but 100% complete map-wise. So you feel like you're in this giant empty lifeless world lol.
I'd hold off on buying it. Maybe get that golf with friends game if you want to chill with friends. There's just not enough content in ANY sense: not enough games, not enough condo shit, not enough toys music clothing etc etc etc....
