I really want to like fighting games but I just can't get around the concept of a 1 on 1 game where the only factor of determining the outcome of the game is each player's skill.
What's the point if the more skilled player always wins? Who has fun like that?

I can't get around the concept of team based games because no one ever wants to listen anyway. My sis was playing Smite and got annoyed cuz her team didn't listen and they lost a bunch.
Fighting games are the ultimate test of 1 v 1 vidya skill. I don't know how anyone can not want to dominate the opponent and know it was because they themselves were better.
