GAMEPLAY! Its fun in fo4, and even if you dont like it, it actually works. Snipers dont top out at 50 meters, bullets dont disappear mid flight wasting your shots.
Also the world is decently built, in fo3 they just threw a bunch of shit together and called it a day. And dont even get me started on how shit D.C was, Boston is ok.
And yeah they went full lazy mode with the conversations in FO4, but truth be told the conversations in FO3 were -HORRIBLE-, worse than oblivion and there was a lot of that shit making you wanna smash something. RPG elements are shit in both so whatever, but perk system in FO4 at least is fun in an OCD kind of way

This is the biggest issue with FNV... the start. Just grind your way South until Nipton, then head North to Novac and Vegas. The game doesn't really begin until you meet Benny and get the chip back. After that, basically the whole game is open to explore.
