Fucking no. In terms of rallying sims RBR still has it beat. In terms of road racing sims like Automobilista, rFactor, iRacing and Assetto Corsa are still MILES ahead.

This, the driving is fine too. So many underage faggots who have only driven a car in a videogame complain about the wheels not auto centering after turning even when you can set them to in the options. I love seeing how many ways you can destroy a car in this game but god damn the racing (with mods) is pretty fucking decent too.

Group B is pretty balanced, at least in my book. T16 is stupidly powerful, but as far as i remember turbo needs some time to kick in, making car worse in handling than Delta S4. Meanwhile Alpine murders every other 60's car in performance, handling, sturdiness, basically in every aspect.
But yeah, i guess they won't nerf anything. This game isn't really about multiplayer anyway, even if online events are ultimately awesome.

Despite being an early access game the dev has made a fuck ton of content in the last 2 years since I got it and has no plans on stopping. It's by far and large a crash sim but with a sandbox that allows a multitude of different ways to drive you can virtually do anything you want, providing you learn how to edit AI, levels and shit or just download mods. Modders have made some sweet levels and real life cars too.

Dirt rally is not really good in driving aspect. I mean, it's great, but it's not ultra-realistic. Play Richard Burns Rally if you want a comparison. I finished the masters championship in dirt, then installed RBR, hit my car on the very first corner which killed it right away. It wasn't even a high speed crash. Launched Dirt to compare and it took me a good 5-6 high speed head on tree collisions to ruin the car. What a joke.
BeamNG may be a bit rough around the corners in terms of physics, but it's all because it is all fully simulated and not faked like in other racing games, even the most realistic ones like Race 07.

Of course, it's a rally game so it's all about drifting. If you can't drift you can't win any race. The different surfaces and weather conditions make it pretty challenging to drift though - takes a lot of driving skill and experience to not fuck it up.
