I played through with Misery and didn't find any game breaking bugs, or any that were actually troublesome. In that manner it is objectively a good mod. I found the game MORE fun with Misery installed than with no mod installed so, in that manner, it is subjectively good to me.
Although I suppose if everyone magically learned the difference between subjective and objective the post frequency on /v/ would drop by about 80%.

Right after 2.0's release because it was complete and utter garbage. It was hilarious being on /sg/ after release and finding out a bunch of new bullshit about the mod every single day. Like helmet's weighing over 10kg, item descriptions being so fucking bloated that you couldn't even read them, the dev's own testers being unable to beat the game with fucking cheats on, the designer's retarded ideas of game balance and how STALKER is meant to be played, or the fucking plethora of glitches and lazy optimization. The textures in the mod were literally completely unoptimized on release. You could install Absolute textures over it and get better performance and graphics. There was actually a mod on the official forums where a guy literally just ran a optimizer he found on SkyrimNexus and it made the game run far better.

Honestly that part wasn't autism, just written poorly. It highlights a pretty interesting topic that gets very often glossed over in every single video game - almost always the mind gives out before the body. Some soldiers can take several 7.62 rounds to the chest and keep on going, others can get hit with 9mm's in the hand or foot and instantly drop. Its not just about your armor and how bulky you are, even though that is a part of it.

Clear Sky doesn't really remedy that. Missions pop up all over the place because you're supposed to help out factions in certain areas of the map if they're trying to attack/defend stuff. You'll sprint over to help your buddies only to find out they don't need your help or that they've been slaughtered. Not to say the game is terrible, though.
