Bloodborne is better then any souls. Except possibly dark souls 3, cause I haven't played it yet...
The weapons are good.
The PvE is honestly mediocre.
The mechanics are questionable, the damage is obscene, and the game blows its load at Gascoigne and doesn't recover until Gehrman.
The PvP is offensively awful.
Chalices are shit.
Little replay value thanks to chalices.
Bloodgems were a mistake.

Only thing DS1 does better than DS2 is the setting and the shiny armor, and that isn't enough. DS2 is more interesting in that Vendrick's story offers more in an empathetic way, but DS1 establishes it's setting in a more satisfying way.
But none of this really matters because DS2 and BB both have better gameplay, and DS2 has the best multiplayer.

Every Souls game is deeply flawed honestly. I love DaS but it's for sure got some noteworthy issues. I've never played BB but it looks on par with DaS1.

You don't farm for healing in DS2.
DS2 healing gives less estus heals, and the heals are slower and heal less as well. Lifegems are much better than humanity which can be used in pvp for instant full health.
DS2 has the best healing system.
