RE plots COULD play out intelligently, with villains having some decent motivations, but Capcom just cannot write a good story to save their lives. It's also basically an elaborate shlock horror thing anyway.

It was a step up, but I also miss RE4's camp. RE should just be campy as fuck.
Rev 1 and 2 did try to be campy to a degree, but it also felt a little forced. Not naturally campy like RE4 was.
