I actually went BACK to iRO because ToS sucked so much. 5-15min waits on text popping up, a less enjoyable grind, shit slows down real quick, bland skills/classes. ToS is nice visuals and music but that's about it.

I am playing on TalonRO non-renewal server. A lot of ro pserver player in /vg/ hated it because it's customized. It's p2w but i can enjoy it as f2p because there's no paywall like feeling. It doesn't punish me from exploring or doing inefficient grinding. I went to Thanatos tower last week with some europeans(not many AMerican players).
There are alot pserver out there. Just create a general shilling a pserver and people will flock into one. I am happy enough in talonro without /v/ or /vg/ shitting in it.
I have an account on TalonRO, rampant donations and lots of custom card effects and items (none of those xbox wings that plague literally every private server). Basically RO if everyone had access to MVP cards and more because if everyone is overpowered then no one is overpowered.

one of the cool things about RO when i first played was that everyone was partying everywhere, and people would just randomly stop and chat

the devs aren't quick when it comes to making customization changes
there are very few unique weapon sprites, a limited hair colour palette and even fewer outfit colours
in fact, i think it was only recently that they added the new outfits for some of the 3rd job classes (GX, RK, RG, ranger and gene - sorry if i forgot any)
