It's really fun, impressively fun. You collect medals and use them to battle, similar to chain of memories with cards. Medals are characters from the series everyone ranging from Olette to Simba is featured. You can tap or swipe enemies to hit them and use different abilities. You customize your character, and you can collect clothes and recustomize them at any time. There's different keyblades to collect and level up, the music is classic KH stuff. There are guilds you can join that contribute to raid bosses, and you can join parties for bonus xp and stuff. IAP work kind of like Record Keeper, not pay to win at all and you can obtain everything by playing.

Yeah, I really like how Sora consistently needs the help and support of his pals to pull through and get shit done. It's a nice sentiment, but it isn't really based on anything the story has in it.
So I've been playing for a couple of hours now, and it's actually pretty great.
If you join a party, you can participate in raid boss battles when someone in your party dies to it, allowing for people to go against it and net loot.
I'd advise you all to take advantage of the Daily Deal which grants you 3 medals for the price of one. And don't worry about buying Jewels, if you do a lot of quests, you'll get quite the amount.
Only thing that's an absolute pain to grind for is materials that upgrade the Keyblade, as they're really hard to get ahold of. Some will be prizes in missions but other times, you're just supposed to hope you're lucky enough to net one from a chest.
If enough people want to get in on this, we can probably make a general on /vg/ or something later if anyone is interested.

So I've been on a KH kick recently, my only prior experience being beating KH2 a long ass time ago when it first came out for PS2, I found it super cheap in a book store really soon after it came out no less.
I recently beat KH1 and enjoyed it, despite aspects of it being frustrating at times.
I started playing Re Chain of Memories and wow, just beat the first boss and I gotta say, I'm really enjoying the combat, granted I just started. Big fan of card based JRPGS, like Baten Kaitos. Anyone else really enjoy ReCom? I was skeptical because I heard not so great things from people.
