I was blown away by how fun the core shooting, moving and crazy arsenal(!!) are. Fuck Serious Sam and Painkiller, THIS is the true successor to old-school run-n-gun FPS games.
Big downside is that getting a lot of important drops requires wiki reading and then to play play play (read: grind) until you just hit the RNG lottery.
Also, you ARE essentially REQUIRED to get Platinum, one way or another, to be able to collect and enjoy the various weapons and frames which are pretty much the main draw of the game.

I don't really mind grinds where you have to do an insane amount of a thing, but you always advance a little towards your grand goal.
The "grind" in Warframe however is a fight against the drop RNG which makes it very binary; you can play for 10hours straight but if you don't get the exact drop you want then you have made ZERO progress.

The biggest problem this game has is that the PvP is fucking broken and PvE is also broken.
There's a billion different weapons, mods, frames to experiment with but there's no real point to experimentation when the only outcome is "worse than the Tonkor with the right mods".
I could handle the fucking grind if there were a point. "Unlock all the content for the sake of it" is a terrible, awful, shit-stain point. "Use all the content you just unlocked in multiplayer", less so. Unfortunately that's broke too.
