I would say, the game was a bit too easy, but the storyline is written well enough that you really won't care.
If you haven't played this yet, then pick it up asap. It's been remastered and ported into like every handheld.

Yeah they don't give a shit about surprises or suspense. They kind of just tell you with visuals who the villains are before they are revealed to the characters.
