Why is this allowed? Why do Druid cards all have the same properties to them

More than any other class I hate Druid. Cards like pic related are so fundamentally retarded it is mind blowing.

>dark bomb and mortal coil packed into one card so for two slots you get a card that has a use in every situation

Then there is shit like Living Roots, Ancient of Lore, Where Shall I Strike, etc... It's just a class that can fill its deck with twos of these cards because they cover an extremely wide variety of scenarios and are the best options in those scenarios.

Part of why the stupid Force of Savage Roar combo is so good is because it's painfully easy for Druid to stall. He has a 2/4 silence/2 damage nuke minion that shits on SI Agent and can be used for trading.

Look at his hero power. The point was to be resourceful, but not excel. His hero power doesn't tank up as much as Warrior and isn't as safe as Mage or allow for the combo potentials of Rogue. His other cards though just have effects straightup better than everyone else's.

Did you even read my post? My problem is that he chooses between great effects and therefore can fill his deck with the optimal cards with no real sacrifice. If you use other classes like Warlock and include a card like Mortal Coil or Dark Bomb, you are actively choosing against usually better cards for your gameplan to accomodate for a potential defensive play style.

Card game made by Jagex that plays like a board game. The game spans 5 chapters and you can only play 4 cards a chapter, you have to decide what order to put the cards in and anticipate what your opponent will be playing too. The game actually has quite a bit of depth and you aren't completely bound to shit RNG like you are in Hearthstone.

A JMod talked about it on the RSChronicle forum. I can't find the thread about it but he noted that the number of players skyrocketed when they posted the open beta on the Runescape front page and gave out an ingame book that gave bonus experience. You can tell that there are quite a bit more players since queue times are nearly instant now while they used to take forever while in closed beta.

Mortal coil doesn't cost 2 mana, it costs one. Sure, you have to actually kill the minion with mortal coil, but usually you aren't going to wrath a minion for one when you can't kill it. Most classes have some kind of way to deal three damage, and Dark Bomb is the shittiest one in the game. The only reason Dark Bomb is a good card is because it's in warlock, a class that couldn't do 3 damage for 2 mana with no downside previously.

It wouldn't really surprise me if they either made one of the cards useless like they did with Leeroy and Warsong Commander. Force/Savage isn't really OP in my opinion, but Blizzard apparently hates it when a combo deck has a decent win rate, which is why they destroyed Miracle Rogue and Patron Warrior. If they nerf the druid combo druid's basically going to be constructed rogue after the Leeroy/Gadgetzan nerf, no one's going to play it, and we'll just have another dead class, and they also will never nerf Mysterious Challenger.

Not really, it needs a turn to attack and you just whiffed basically all your Mana, which may be all the enemy needs to crush you since you can't play any Instants or any other bullshit requiring Mana.
If you can hit with it, you basically win, though.
Also, it's not that hard to get 15 Colorless with some of the Special Eldrazi Lands, since you can get 2 Colorless Mana from them if you use it to summon a Colorless Eldrazi.

There are a lot of decks in magic which revolve around killing you opponent in just a couple turns so getting them out is a problem.

RNG gives a game variety and depth of strategy. Games like MtG have a optimal strategy against certain types of decks. This make the game less fun as it becomes boring.

Blizzard eliminates this problem with RNG. By RNG the amount of situtations multiplies which gives more depth to the game. You have to account certain events to your calculations making it harder to predict the outcome.

This way the gameplay remains fresh and new even if the decks remain same

I'll tell you why.

And it is fair but the reason behind it is because of Blizzards retard design decision.

Each class has a theme, Druid is *supposed* to be the big minion rush theme, hence his core low cost cards are mainly shit to get your big cards out.

Since they created Druid solely to be used to rush big creatures out they had to balance him by giving him limited class specific low cost minions - and to make it so he doesn't get wrecked by face rushing he has cards with multiple choices

It makes sense in the design of hearthstone as a whole but in practice it is retarded as the meta has dictated druid to rarely be about big creatures

no I stopped playing months ago. From what I remember Face Hunter would always be on the ladder till you got to 16, and then below that it was nothing but secret paladin or reno jackson warlocks

The balance is this game is atrocious and the dev team has stated it's against their "philosophy" to change card texts. They only do it after months of people complaining 24/7 and even then they chose the easiest path: rotation mode.

I'm glad I quit this garbage.

It can't handle tempo mage without dominating them early, which is a lot harder than you think it is, and it's not particularly great against meta decks.
