Well, it's also a huge problem that people from Spanish-speaking countries refuse to speak languages other than Spanish.
Kinda understandable in regard that these people often have no need to use other languages where they live, but they're on the internet for fucks sake. English is the de-facto lingua franca here.

I think it's because they got into online games after the community shifted from pre/early 2000s "making friends and doing stuff together because that was the only way to get stuff DONE" to late 2000s/post 2010 "fuck you got mine"

Spanish is a funny ass sounding language. I don't anyone can sound tough or cute speaking in Spanish at all unless it's one of those weathered and experienced old man grouch types of voices, but everyone sounds threatening in such voices.
