do not get brutal doom, it's just stupid. Also don't download anything that else that makes the game look like shit, models being out of place, guns stolen from other games. ruins the gameplay and makes the game itself feel like shitty cheap game in comparison

Hell Revealed. It's a forgotten oldie but a goodie (kind of like the saying I just used). Starts out fairly basic but ends up... pretty basic but with hundreds of monsters up your arse. It's memorable, far moreso than your standard slaughterwad.

Are you even aware there's a very, very obvious "CLASSIC" or "MODERN" option before you start a game in Brutal Doom?
You should still play the .wad just for the sake of it, avoiding it because some retards enjoy it is fucking stupid.
