How do we destroy mobile gaming before it completely destroys the industry?

Too late.

How is it destroying the industry?

It's too late. Even Nintendo's in on it now.

>before

Nintendo hasn't been relevant since Mario Kart Party Smash 473

free-to-play mobile games are practically gambling games in disguise. they make you think it's a game of skill where in the end it's really a game of luck, and you pay for it (i.e. in-app purchases), much like in casinos.

Stop playing it in the toilet then, fag
I don't think it's the mobile gaming itself that kills the industry. It's all of the big companies putting out a bunch of shit and micro transactions that do that. Mobile gaming is great because it give devs limits and forces them to work around the difficulties.

By pretending it doesn't exist.

It might not destroy the industry, and you won't be able to stop it.
People will always want more of a story at some point so console/pc games will always exist. I'm doubtful that it will destroy anything, I think people are just getting scared because there is now something where there is a lot of money that looks a lot like video games, however it is branded as "not video games" and people do not know how to identify with that branding.
I would love to know how mobile games are even destroying the industry specifically as well because I'm not certain I can peg anything solely on mobile gaming.
To compete with mobile you have to be mobile, it is that simple. The draws/advantages of mobile are fundamentally not available with current or near-future dedicated gaming technology. The problem isn't even mainly in the hardware sector, but rather with public perception, which is slowly changing.
Attack mobile devices. They're horrible and they're anti-privacy.

There's nothing left to save.
