That's actually a good question. Let's suppose Nintendo DOES go third party. Then what happens? Weren't third party publishers complaining that their games were always dwarfed by Nintendo's own games? What will happen when Nintendo will compete against those same companies across multiple platforms? I'm pretty sure that, unless it's GTA, Nintendo's games outsell ANY other game, even when they're on completely separate platforms.

Because I only buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games and other platform exclusives which would just be multiplats anyway. In other words, I'm forced to buy a redundant piece of hardware to supplement much better hardware that I already own (a high-tier gaming PC) just because of Nintendo exclusivity. This wasn't a big deal back in the day, since consoles and PCs were neck and neck at least at launch. But these days even the PS4 is horribly dated next to a capable PC, and Nintendo isn't even in the fucking ballpark anymore. I don't enjoy playing on what's the equivalent of a toaster, playing mostly 720p games that can barely keep up 30 fps for the most part. It's fucking disgusting. Yes, there some 60fps games but for the most part they're not, and they're almost all 720p which is just a blurry jagged mess on my television. MK8 for instance is such a shame because the game has some really beautiful art, but when I look at it all I see is horrific jaggies, everywhere, because the system isn't even powerful enough to handle AA in a game like MK.

This is a load of shit. Most of their Wii U games barely even took advantage of the Wii U touch screen and treated it like an afterthought for maps and inventory management. DKCTF flat out turned it off. Obviously they have the advantage of only having to develop for one hardware specification, but it's becoming increasingly that way already. Just about everything is x86, and running some flavor of DX11.

You also seem to have no idea how businesses work. Nintendo is a global corporation that costs several billion dollars a year to run. A $257 million operating loss does not come from simply pissing it out the window unless they've ceased all of their operations. All your arguments against its inclusion focus on it being a failure due to it not taking a large portion of the playerbase and making New 3DS exclusive games a worthwhile business endeavour. The DSi suffered the exact same fate.
