honestly I really like Majula. The sunset really had a nice effect of showing how the world was dying just like the setting sun. I really liked it, except the tracking was bullshit.

Another place I liked, only the beginning irked me.
I liked it, i think the DLC made it an enjoyable experience. Without the dlc however, it's really lackluster. Although, the dlc was also half assed too, with most enemy encounters being reskinned versions of this tall lanky enemy with different armor and weapons.
Solid 7.5/10 imo, probably more of a 6 without the dlc
The only thing that bugs me is how you run such a short distance to get to new major areas (Tower of Flame, Forest, Castle), but from Majula, they look far-as-fuck away. I guess it's an area transition similar to hammerspace? I know it's a small nuance, but this game is such an offender about it it always makes me wonder...

Yeah, I normally don't mind it in RPGs because it's just a concession you'll have to make, but Dark Souls had a little more care put into it, and the devs themselves said it'd be like DaS but denser.

I really liked it. Not as much as Dark 1, but still, probably more than most on this board. Only real problems with the game are Soul Memory, Way of the Blue or whatever it was called, limited monster spawns, and invasions, invasions nowhere. If you wanted PvP, you had either the Bell Faggots or look for Dragon Signs in Iron Keep.

Focus on you surroundings. Theres a window you can lock onto one and aggro just the first three, an arrow, magic, or even a miss with throwing knives is all it takes and its no problem
