My point is the separation of red and blue, which have an associated (and sometimes real) phenomena to them, and the other colors which have no connection, phenomena, or superstition associated with them. Not to mention the outright wrongness of some of it. Yellow is flamboyant and attracts attention, which is why the wealthy Bad Moons prance around in them (yet wealthy Evil Sunz prefer touting red and care nothing about yellow). The Goffs, however, actively spur that practice, and while they like the color red, they don't believe in the "faster" superstition around it.

Yeah, I basically suck ass at RTS's so I never touch them. Armada is an exception since you're commanding around 3-6 ships depending on the mission so it's pretty low-impact. I like how I can order shitter ships to just engage at a set range while micro-ing 1 or 2 ships to get just right.
I guess I could wish for more customization but the tabletop version seemed like it just had a big ass ship list over picking what weapons go on what.

I'm in Soulstorm as Chaos, and I do not know how to muster enough forces to push back the Dark Eldar edgelords when they have their commander with them, ESPECIALLY when we're stuck on a small map called Parmenie that gives me only 3 natural strategic points, and the enemy has like... 12. I can hold out for a while, but I simply cannot muster enough Berserkers and Raptors to fuck these guys up.

This is also true for Ollanius Pius (holy shit that Perpetual bullshit), the destruction of the Dark Angel's homeworld in the HH, Cypher, and the new Beast Arises series that has no connection to the fluff Beast apart from the name and date.

Yeah, and so did 7 companies of Astral Knights - even without dozens of monoliths overhead and warriors pouring in from every direction. Instead they had cyclopean corridors where it is infinitely easier to choke the enemy and stage retreats. I'd say that makes it easier for them, at least enough for the original story to still fit right innot that newcrons should actually change anything like you've said, because GW repeatedly states that "necrons are still exactly the same, except a rare few have awakened with personalities".

When the Overlord phased back top his sarcophagus, he found that the Deathwatch has rigged it with melta bombs. There is an implication that the Cryptek might have helped in this.
With the leadership of the Necrons destroyed, the Marines and guardsmen swept the Necrons away from the planet.
So Damnos is a lot closer to World Engine novel.

The thirst is a side effect of the lifestyle of the Deldar, not something inherent to their blood. Or more accurately, all Eldar can suffer from the thirst, it is just that the other eldar groups (Craftworlders, Harlequins, and Exodites), have developed ways of avoiding it, either via ascetic lifestyle, pledging their souls to Cegoragh, or via hard, primitive lifestyles, that give no room for temptations.
The Dark Eldar generally don't want to limit their lives with the "no fun allowed" attitudes of their cousins, and thus they suffer from the thirst.

That's what I am beginning to conclude, but that isn't explicitly stated anywhere I've seen. There are a few unknown variables, such as the exact consequence of being in the Warp during Slaanesh's birth scream (could have made a physical change), the fact that no Dark Eldar are psykers (despite being a psykically powerful race), and why their souls aren't eaten by Slaanesh when they die (instead the souls sit around waiting to be regenerated, with no soulstones).
