I want Nathan Drake to answer for all his crimes because Uncharted is a narrative focused game and you can't have him doing the things he does and no one calls him out on it.

Another thing while I'm already here. Drake's Deception was a fucking grimdark mess and was missing everything that made the first two games good. Everyone was out of character. Especially Nate. He is dispicable in UC3. A Thief's End is a return to what Uncharted is. A fun series with a dramatic third act that ends on a jovial note. This is not going to be The Last of Us. I really don't get where people are getting this from. Fuck Hennig for what she did to this series. I'm pretty sure that UC4 will rival UC2 as best game in the series.

I hear this so often and all it says is that the player was unimaginative and not using the tools at their disposal. Nearly everything about the combat encourages mobility.
Firstly, and most importantly, the AI tracks the last known position of the player when out of line-of-sight. This encourages flanking. Which puts enemies out of cover and also forces them change cover, making them even more vulnerable. Many, but not all, of the combat areas are designed to facillitate this style of play. The climbing elements are further tied into combat with the ability to create cover from ledges and fire using your side-arm. The steelfist melee finishers and assassination moves give you two close-combat options for guns-blazing and stealth approaches, respectively. You're encouraged to pick-up and use weapons mid-fight, by catching the weapons of enemies killed with melee finishers and having new weapons give you more ammo than a resupply. You then have blind fire (necessary for heavies) and grenades (for entrenched enemies).
Basically, if you play these games like it's Gears of War then no wonder you think it's boring.

I love uncharted. I just think the series should have ended at 3. 4 looks kinda bland and uninspired to me. Naughty dog should have been more focused on creating a new IP or reviving an old franchise for the PS4 instead of continuing the uncharted series.

He treated all of his close friends/family like absolute shit. His personality from Among Thieves to Drake's Deception is totally different. He isn't funny and charming in Deception, he's out for only himself, and it just doesn't feel right. Really none of the characters do in that game. Hennig needed others to help reign her in. It's pretty clear that Druckmann, Schurr, and Straley are what made the first two games what they were. They seem to be on track to make this the best in the series. We'll see.

This is shown off more in the multiplayer but I think Uncharted has a unique combination of platforming/traversal and shooting. Compared to other shooters in the genre you have to think a lot more about all of the different elevations people could be at. The first uncharted 4 gameplay trailer they showed off demonstrated this well.
