Outside of Tekken and VF 3D fighters are trash

There are side tournaments for 3D games, they're just done by different communities. AnimEvo exist grouped together because they're organized by the same people.

Yes. I mean in the end it doesn't really change anything, the side tournaments are there, AnimEvo is just a fancy title. There were side tournaments for anime games even before they started it.
