It stopped being relevant around the point the trolls first started meddling with the kids' session and beating over their heads that they were all in a hopeless, unwinnable situation. Then the comic spent a long-ass time meandering around beating the hopelessness into us even more while the characters scrambled around forming their grand plan, and then we spent a long-ass time getting acquainted with a bunch of new characters, which was kinda necessary, and now we're finally seeing the endgame in action, and it could have happened years sooner if the kickstarter for the game and all the shit surrounding that had never happened.
The pacing of the comic did slow down in act 5, sure, but the hiatuses were the death of it all.
Now I just want to find out how it ends.
