Honestly, the concept of Kratos invading a different mythology than his own could be interesting, He spent his life knowing no gods or afterlife other than the ones in Greece, and now suddenly he meets a world completely alien to him.
I imagine the Norse gods are pissed at Kratos for causing destruction that even reached their borders, or they want his help for Ragnarok.
