What's the most scientifically complex game you've ever played?
Pic related, took me 12 hours to build up enough knowledge just to press half of the A button.
>>333360259
have a you.
It has the most universes of any game.
>>333360259
Hey it's funny that you say that, did you know there's a video where a guy talks about this crazy method to get through a level using as few A presses as possible? It's really cool lol

Welcome to /v/
>>333361671
I still use meme's from when I was 13
>>333362031
>implying you've aged
>>333362031
>Awesome face
>13
Fuck, now you are 20.
I AM TOO OLD FOR THIS
>>333362569
basically this, he has to release the a button to play another level which makes it (by his own definition of an a press) an entire a press to play one stage
>>333360259
I didn't follow this much but I watched his youtube video.
So let me get this straight. The idea was that he was trying to finish the level with as few A presses as possible so he figured out a method that would allow him to do it and part of it involved a process that took twelve hours to do.
Am I right? Twelve hours just to beat a level without pressing A?
>>333362031
it seems you and OP have something in common
>>333362769
Until the level is finished. So during the whole stage, it's still half an A press
>>333362569
Well said, Henry.
>>333362943
THAT DOESN'T COUNT YOU RETARD, HOLDING DOWN A BUTTON DOESN'T COUNT AS A PRESS. SO YOU COUNT IT AS ZERO PRESSES IN THE LEVEL OR ONE PRESS FROM BEFORE ENTERING
>>333362795
>>333363093
But for it to be held down, at some point since the birth of the universe, the A button had to be pressed. So it's a necessity that a button was pressed in order for the star to be reached.
>>333363027
>"""Henry"""
>implying
So I get the half A press thing, but what's the infinite universes part of it? Didn't have the presses to watch the whole video.
Fucking casuals, just map the A button to the Z key. Then you can pick up any star without even half-pressing.
>>333363672
I agree with Henry
HENRY DID NOTHING WRONG
>>333363809
DELETE THIIIIIS
I enter a stage. I press and hold A. I collect the star. Still holding A, I enter a new stage, and collect a star.
How many A presses did it take total? How many A presses did the first star take? How many A presses did the second star take?
>>333363953
I start the level, I walk up to the star. I press A but then pause the game and go take a nap.
When I come back, I unpause and collect the star. Same shit, you still pressed A.
>>333363093
the half of an A press isnt that hard to understand
there's 3 parts to an A press;
1, it's up, not pressed. 2, it's held down. 3, it's let go.
so holding it down lands in 2, which is in the middle, so it's half of an A press.

>using the hard way instead of the easy way
>casual
You're the casual anon
>>333363991
I don't think anyone disagrees with TJ "The Half-Press Hatin' Henry" Yoshi.
>>333363945
I don't get the delete this meme
>>333364094
>Need to press A to enter a new stage
Nope. You can use a leaping motion from running and pressing B, while holding A.
>>333364146
I'm guessing it's when someone posts something defamatory on facebook and the afflicted part is like "WTF Jamie delet this"
>>333364146

Basically, every time someone gets mad and wants something removed, they're referencing this video of some child getting buried.
>>333361671
>thinking memes can go "out of fashion"
>treating memes like a hobby
Ever considered suicide?
>>333364050
That would be 2/3 of an A press. The real explanation is that letting go doesnt count because there is no ingame action tied to it. Therefore, you don't count that part.
somebody told me you need 36 years to crash paper mario
>>333364195
Isnt it from that guy who's complaining that the police harassed him on the metro in germany or something, and then the police officer posts a picture of him, and he's a fat furry or someting like that, so OP posts "delete this"?
>>333364258
That's "Not letting go of the A button", it's still a full press since you're literally pressing it down.
>>333364295
400+ actually, four centuries is four centuries, you cant say it's only like 1/10
>>333364258
letting go cancels upwards acceleration prior to the apex of a jump
letting go also cancels hovering while mario has a wing cap equipped
>>333363953
Both levels are still half an a press since you are holding down the button.
>>333364216
Oh so it was really about this.
That's fucking hilarious. Finally a good meme for once.
>>333364374
Holding is literally a different action from pressing
>>333364216
>video of some child getting buried.
That was quite the choice of words.
>>333364442
I was just thinking this, kek
>>333364442
I guess it was. God damn
>>333364436
The button is depressed whether tapping or holding it. Not different at all.

They actually do this.
it's a resistant spongy material with a printed circuit board / wrapper underneath. it's "on" (in contract) or "off" (not in contact). he's saying "half pressing" isn't a thing. but game actions change based on the length a button is held down. colloquially when someone says half press it's rational to assume he means "a light, brief press"
>>333364329
A full a press constitutes three part, "henry"
>>333364659
A "half-press" in this faggot's terms is holding the button from before the stage loads and using the effects of that to complete the stage.
What you said is what I though too, but the sperg hole goes far deeper.
