You guys have obviously not played it yet. Listen, I've been playing since FU and MHX is fucking amazing and airtight. Every new monster and even revamped old ones are a thrill to fight. The hunter arts are a fun addition to the mechanics and mounting isn't as spamworthy (one of my biggest complaints with 4u). There's also way more to do and doesn't get stale as quick as 4u did. I don't know where you're hearing that it's not good but I played it for months nonstop and had one hell of a time.
