The PS4 is as slim as it's going to get. If anything they'll keep the same chasis for price/production reasons, and it'll just be a different variant of a motherboard seated within, as was the case with the one PS4 revision already that's slightly quieter than launch models.

Had my PCfag phase from 2010-2013, dropped it when PS4 came out because I realized I don't care about framerate as much as I thought I did and higher settings don't look that much better to me. I'm a sucker for Uncharted and getting to play FFXV/7R early are huge perks to my old ass.

I bought a PS4, more than 10+ games are currently in development for it and this is fine. I don't feel the need to upgrade the hardware when what I currently have now works fine.
The only thing that'll bother me is PS4.5k exclusives. It'll just mean I havd to buy one eventually but that will be a pretty shitty thing that Sony doesn't normally do.

I'm worried, the prospect of a new ps4 is interesting but I bought my PS4 thinking it would be relivent at least until 2019.
If there is a major upgrade between the 4 and 4.5 and they offer some way to trade up I won't feel as bad about it.
If the difference is simply just playing games in 4K then I won't feel as bad and likely won't bother picking it up.
My concerns are simply will this upgrade be significant and if so can I easily and somewhat cheaply upgrade to the next version.
