Why do the japanese feel the need to dissect the different aspects of a singular personality into so many multifaceted variations? It's part of Japanese writing style to just pick a single characteristic and design an entire character after it, highly exaggerating that specific personality trait to make it their defining character. It's a shit way to write characters, but is piss easy to do.
So rather than write a complex character it's significantly easier to just write six completely different characters and then say they represent parts of one whole.
