In neither case is it "unplayable". The OG 3DS version never drops before 15 fps, so it's never a literal slideshow, but the constant fluttering around upper 20s causes it to look more sluggish than it really is, whereas on New 3DS it's a steady 30.

Playing the whole game with limited communication really made the experience for me.
It felt like some kind of experiment to test people's eamwork and problem solving skills without words.

Unless Eldin made them vanish.
Also, there's this. Which came from TCRF.net But they have a habit of being incorrect so take this with a grain of salt. Apparently this is an unused Deku Baba which implies that Deku Nuts were items in TP. But this looks just like one of the regular giant Deku Nuts that are in the game. So I don't know if they just posted that without having played the game.There is one other piece of juicy lore I noticed between TP and OOT3D, but I think I will save it for another day because it would probably be better for its own thread.

I want to get into zelda more and will be buying some of the games on sale but playing OoT3D now and while the game is great I get bored of it so easily. Many people praise and love the sidequests in these games but I fucking hate them with a passion. When playing the games for the first time did you guys do the sidequests or just play through the game normally? Are sidequests a 2nd playthrough kind of thing? If you visit Telma's bar at a very, very specific point in the story (after you do the carriage mission, but before you clear the Lakebed Temple and have to save Midna), you can actually meet Shad, Ashei, and Auru sitting at the table before you're properly introduced to them. They'll trash talk Link, asking him if he made his "Legendary Hero costume" himself, and that he should seek work at the local circus show.
When you listen in on their conversation later, they have unique dialogue where they learn who Link is and express horror and embarrassment at the way they talked to him, and they'll apologize profusely the next time you meet.

Playing with friends is the easy mode of this game. Seriously, stages could be beat in minutes if you know your team and can actually communicate with them. Signleplayer isn't even worth mentioning, it's THAT shit.
