say what you want, but all main line Assassin's creed games had cool as fuck combat animations. AC Unity's axe kill animations were fucking god tier.

The animations got way too long. AC managed to have stylish but relatively straightforward and effective kills. The later games got increasingly absurd-left the character too vulnerable. Got tiresome and took me out of the experience.
