I would probably get in the hype for a cock sucking simulator, but he was always Parr of a corporate leading structure. It's easy to blame 'big bad corp' (and Konami sucks) for failures. Whatever he's making, he needs to prove that he's capable to achieve his goals in game design and lead a business.

Something like this is what I've been wondering. I'm so sorry but ima make a George Lucas comparison.
Think about star wars. George Lucas was a piece of that history, but not all of it. He had professionals help, he had limits given to him by the rest of the team, his more retarded ideas were discarded, and the whole thing was saved in editing.
George Lucas had all the freedom in the world after that, and made a laughing stock. On top of that concern, what if kojima mishandles the budget. What if he spends money on getting a real life monkey (pivotal to the plot for the games first half hour) to do mo-cap work? If ff15 flops then he holds a lot of the burden for the Japanese big budget industry. It would be nice if he could have complete creative freedom but he can't. He needs to be kept in check. If people kiss his feet for monkey-mo-cap then we'll get a situation like Lucas got when they screened the phantom menace. He didn't make these great games himself, he can't be allowed to be the god of a studios work on this game. That never works.
