Norse, but it's more about being consistent to the feel of the Sagas. In Greek mythology, murderous dickery made sense because there's so much dickery in them. Though the Sagas are humorous and dickish at times, the read and feel a lot more apocalyptic and somber.
They are like autumn and winter to the Greek's spring and summer, and I feel the game would benefit from staying true to that, slaughter of the gods or not.
