Man good thing people read any hearthstone news considering it's been said in almost every single piece talking about the pre-set nerfs that BGH isn't going to exist in it's current state because it screws with possible card design
Plus there's ways to play it without needing to spend 18 mana, worst example is alarm-o-bot but the options exist and if any of the new cards can pull off an effect like the priest legendary and become a 1/1 version of a card it can see play.

Ancient one, like Deathwing can be stopped by a shieldbearer, a frost bolt an ice elemental and so on.
There are a ton of ways to shut it down.

Ancient one needs more than just stats for it to be worth it or even compared to an exodia like condition, you're exhausting a lot of resources to drop this guy and those resources are also very simple to remove.

Unlike Deathwing your hand is still full after this is summoned. And again I'm not saying this is a good card, I'm just saying you can cheese a few wins with it when people don't expect it. It's the Mimiron's Head of the set.

this card would be great in druid.
get card that discards you hand for 10 mana crystals, draw card that makes all your cards cost 1 or even the card that makes all you stuff cost 5, draw both of these play them both and you have a same turn 30/30.
So, once again like mimiron, literally only going to see play in conceal combo rogue gimmick decks, and even then has a two turn setup of basically passing your turn.

Druid can honestly just run this in Sea Witch decks assuming the meta is slow enough. Run double faceless manipulator and it can be one of your 15 game winning threats

It just doesn't make sense. You need twice the amount of removal for two smaller ones rather than a single entomb etc

its shit unless you can pull off some emperor shenanigans but even then you get a 30/30 that is going to get 100% removed unless your opponent is stupid enough to not keep removals at turn 9 and beyond
even if you somehow to manage to get it out without it being removed it's still useless

I really like how 95% of all cards are useless in this game. Yeah there's cool high mana cost cards but almost all of them don't even see play until after one is already so ahead and about to close out the game.
