It's fine if you're a big ASoIaF fan. The whole story is about a minor house that doesn't appear in the source material which can't affect the real plot for obvious reasons. The Game of Thrones actors do some voices, which is cool. The story is alright, but not as good as, say, Telltale Walking Dead.
My copy was glitchy as fuck though. There was a scene where a guy got in a fight and I couldn't tell how hurt he was because the game stopped rendering his face.

Zero Escape series does what Telltale should be able to do. Actual branching paths and multiple endings that are actually different with a small number of "good" endings.

It's not as good as the other telltale games if thats what you like, all of your choices go down the same path.
Sometimes theres a fork in the road but you end up at the exact same location. This takes away from the other games.

No choices have any consequence apart from slightly different dialogue.
Killing one of those fat dwarfs or ripping a arm off doesn't make any future segments easier or harder just one different line.
Even the last fucking choice which you could argue has an impact on the world... happens in the last 5 minutes of the game like EVERY OTHER telltale game.

My copy on the last episode fucked up my previous choices and it took about 2 hours of messing with the files to fix them back.
Telltale's only advise for me was that I should have created an account with them and cloud saved or something.

Yea not really shilling when the third one is not going to be. It's going to be just like a Telltale game but with real puzzles and choices. You could remake the other two in the same vein (in other words, with animated scenes) as the third if you had the funding, Spike Chunsoft just doesn't/didn't. The second one already had 3D environments and models. Obviously animating is time consuming but the point is that Telltale's issue is one of design.
Telltale's games are large properties with fairly high budgets now. They have no excuse. Design the games better and create actual branching paths. As >>333274016 said, every ending choice is made in the last 5 min of every Telltale game.

I'm aware but as I pointed out in another post Zero Time Dilemma is going to be a Telltale game done right. Animated scenes where you make decisions that actually branch the path and lead to different endings separated by actual puzzles.
Telltale basically makes animated visual novels in terms of their gameplay. You can argue that they sacrifice story size and choice branches for the animated scenes but now ZTD is going to have both.
