Having Ema back and Trucy as a defendant in a case revolving around her magic show were two of my most wanted features in AA6, if they go 3-for-3 and also resolve the Trucy-Apollo family issue, it'll have everything I want, plus all the stuff with Kurain and Maya, which is a great plus. Ghost Trick is an entire game based on possessing stuff, the quality of the case and writing doesn't depend on the inclusion of spiritual stuff at all. It's not like it doesn't fit with AA either, considering the games has featured this from the start.

In the original trilogy Maya didn't have the confidence and blahdeeblah. That's why I thought making her go back to Kurain to train would be a bad idea, because what's stopping Phoenix from just asking Maya to channel every victim once she returns in AA6?

If, for example, the person is killed from behind, they might as well have no idea who did it. Or maybe they had a grudge towards someone (who is innocent in this crime), and wanted to pin it on them.
It's not like the dead can only speak the truth, or know everything that happened.
