There is a difference with removing things because you as a designer felt that the work you did was bad too removing things because a small minority complained (in this case 1 father)
This is nothing new for blizzard either. They have done this with SC,D3 and WoW. A small minority complaining about different things within the game that they themselves don't like and get their voice heard.
