When I was still really little, I had beaten Ocarina of Time for the first time by myself. I recall, after defeating Ganon, struck by an overwhelming sadness because the story ended, and I had little else to do. No more temples or dungeons, trapped in a finite land, stuck in a loop where the game never truly ended. This realization is what made me shed tears. I still can't play OoT or Super Mario 64 to this day because it makes me feel so empty inside.

This motherfucker was thrown into an entirely new world and basically told everyone he ever knew has been dead for 1000 years. He didn't cry, he picked up a sword and started looking for a way back. Then he decides to become of bodyguard so he can get in close with a hot piece of ass he wants to bang. His entire life has been uprooted but this suave bastard is already thinking about how to get some new pussy in the future.
Finally he's told that his dad is the ultimate evil and he'll have to kill him. Not only that but once he does he'll disappear forever. Most people would go, "fuck that shit" but Tidus just grabs his dick and goes to work. Yeah he'll have to fight his dad and disappear but he'll save the world so fuck it you gotta do what you gotta do. Tidus was hardcore as shit.

Actual Steins;Gate spoilers ahead not memeing, haven't seen the anime adaption or played the sequel or read any spinoffs, fuck I haven't even played anything else from the Sci;Adv series other than watching Robotics;NotesSure it'd be a little uncomfortable leaving some issues unresolved before they're entirely erased anyway, but in any time travel story I've ever looked at, none of them ever become pseudonihilistic hedonistic assholes, even though that's what should happen. He even gets close to that when he's caring caring less and less about the event of Mayuri's death itself and skipping over a timeline immediately to travel back furtherFuck that shit about power making people fools, and all that other false philosophy stuff at the beginning, he could get nearly whatever he wants after he resolves those few issues, just managing small aspects of the world like Luka's gender or the life of Rumiho's father, yet he didn't bother when he figured out what was really keeping him. And "Stein's Gate" was supposed to be a worldline free from that absurd fate bullshit right, like some sort of ultimate universe or all encompassing predeterminated world right? So he could at least do it past that point

I suspect I'm going to get some shit for it, but I actually did prefer Way of the Samurai 4 to 3 story=wise at the very least. Yes, it was more linear then 3 was, but at the very least each of the endings were distinct from one another. 3 had a shit tone of endings, but most were just slight variations of other endings. I didn't like the combat though, felt way too random what with not being able to tell whether an enemy was pushing or pulling.

>>333251000
If you enjoyed 4, I think you'll enjoy 3. Just keep in mind it's probably a good idea to not try to grind all the game's endings, because many of them are just slight variations of other endings. Also, you're probably going to need a guide if you want to try to get the true ending. The combat feels a lot less random since you can tell if an enemy is pushing or pulling, and you can knock out pretty much every character in the game rather then killing them (unlike 4 where you can't really do that). I don't think the story is as good, but it's a lot less linear then 4, and how good the story is is really subjective anyways.

Ending of FFX got me. One of my favorite games of all time. That was my entire summer at my grandmother's house that year. Was kinda teary going into the end but when Tidus jumped off and met Jecht on the way down it fucking got me. My dad had died a year earlier so it probably fed on that.
Also G-Senjou no Mao. Cried like a bitch during the interogation and into the ending

At least Beepy is still alive as of Nier 2 (see the Nier novellas). Kind of uh, different now though.

Watching the Asura's Wrath dude beat the absolute shit out of the tip of a guy's finger until he exploded made me cry from laughter.
Ill be the guy to admit it, when Aerith died in FF7. I was fucking 12 when that game came out. While playing the first disc I had dreams of marrying Aerith. After the FMV of Cloud lowering Aerith into the pool of water I was crying so hard my mom was knocking on my door asking me what was wrong. She let her self in and all she saw was the save screen before you swap discs. My mom kept asking me "What's wrong honey, is your game broken?" I fucking told her "No i'm broken mom" in that hyper ventilated voice people get when they cry hard.
>Has a video game ever made you cry?
much worse than that
Ya more than one.
Mass effect 3 was bad
I cried at the end of Crash Bandicoot Warped.

Cried at the part when Amaterasu lost its power but then the people prayed for her, the tears contained sadness 20% but awesome 80%.
I still tear up when im typing this, i cant fucking forget.

It was sad, but I didn't find it that heartbreaking. I think the hipster music at the end didn't really do anything to my emotions. such a shame, really

That one mission in MGSV made me cry. I think its mission 43-Shining lights, even in death, or something like that. It's the one where you had to kill your own people because they were infected. All of the people I had to kill were females, all of the females I worked so hard to get. When I entered the room full of people and they started saluting before I shot them, I bust out crying.
Fuck you, Hideo.

>"told you don't fucking watch that faggot"
I can't remember the last time I cried. I can't imagine that's a good thing either. I remember Broteam talking about how you should do it once a month but I don't know how you go about doing that.

>That scene where the mortal girl who reminds Asura of his daughter gets killed in a bombing run meant for him and he forgoes any semblance of his humanity in grief and rage
>Even when he's in pure blind Wrath mode and tearing apart the world around him, he still avoids harming a single hair on the heads of the innocent
Asura is how you take the basic concept behind Kratos and actually make him endearing and likable.

>>333244172
I was an idiot and cared too much about /v/ spammingshort steps, deep breathswhenever it was mentioned, so made a note to wait for that before I really let loose. I was so emotional when the part came that I didn't even notice they were in the song's lyrics, so I held back and ruined it for myself. All I had was the ending, which was brilliant but nowhere near as sad aserasing Tommy.
