It's good but only after you get the multi-dash and get the rhythm for it. Mastering the multi-dash is like mastering the wall jump in Metroid.
I wish that you had most of the upgrades from the start and that the yellow cores were replaced by the ammo and bomb upgrades themselves. Saving up for the upgrades and only being able to know what they do by the non-descript videos in the shop is irritating.
I wish that the reflect shot slash would only stop the shot unless you nailed a sweet spot which would do the actually reflecting.
It's fun, and it can be difficult. Sometimes it even feels like bullshit, but I really like it.
