If you like the Souls series I guess. I bought one just to play Bloodborne, and while I don't regret it, I haven't touched it in weeks either.
The only games of value (as of now) are Bloodborne, TLOU Remastered (you could probably just emulate the PS3 version a year from now though), and PT. Ratchet and Clank and Nier Automata will be fantastic too, though, but you should probably just wait for the PS4.5 if you're on the fence right now.

I would definitely say no. The hit to your wallet is significant, and if the 4.5 rumors are true, Sony is going to have to either reduce the cost of games or improve PS Plus, because the entire gaming community has lost their patience with the company.

It is if you get it bundled with a game you like. Game consoles rarely drop in price until a new one comes out. I know PS4.5 was announced (of there are rumors about it), and that might drop the price by another $50 or so, but it's also a long time from now. If you're interested in getting one based on the games that are already out and the ones scheduled to come out, then get it. Waiting saves you very little.

Even worse than that. It's damn near impossible to find one of the newer model PS4's in a bundle. They are still being packaged with the launch versions. The fan will randomly turn on during gaming, and whirs so damn loud that its sounds like a whistle.

June is going to be a legendary month for JRPG releases. Not due to quality, but the quantity of JRPGs being released. At the same time, games that are solid $29.99 games are being sold from $59.99-$79.99. Waiting would result in a much fairer price.
Ive put 400+ hours into bloodborne, it was worth it for me. uncharted 4 looks pretty good so I'll probably get that as well

Ratchet comes out in like a week. Star Ocean V and Persona 5 suppose to come out this summer. FFXV in September. A nice stream of games in addition to the stuff we already have available, that being Bloodborne and Gravity Rush Remastered. Some anons like Street Fighter V, Until Dawn, and Tearaway, but I don't really care for those.

I have a high-end PC, there nothing to play on it. Last game was XCOM2 and it was a bland unpolished mess, the one before that was a dragon's dogma 3 year old(?) port. 2 worthwhile games so far in 2016. Don't pretend like PC is in a good place now.

My friend has one, but he really doesn't use it for much of anything beyond Hulu, Amazon and Netflix.
I think the only games he even owns for it are Bloodbourne, Last of Us, and Arkham Knight.

I bought a PS4 last summer, and feel like I shoulda' just held off for another 1+ year.
And all the people I work with who have an Xbone and brag about how it's so much better than the PS4 only play FIFA.
Lesson: Don't be an early adopter.
Unch4rted, Nioh, Ratchet and Clank, Nier Automata, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
I'm going to wait until next holiday season at the earliest before I jump in. Maybe even longer, I have an endless backlog the way it is and have plenty of classics to play like Divinity Original Sin, Dark Souls I and II, a host of RPGs, the Yakuza series, and tons of PS2 games so I'm probably going to wait a couple years unless the PS4 gets shat all over with gems but
