use the reinforced club and pyro flame to do SL1, it's surprisingly easy
You need both int and faith for pyromancy. That means something else is gonna have to be shit. Probably dexterity and luck. You can offset poor health vials with the mound maker spell warmth.

In DaS1 pyromancy scales with nothing. You only spend souls to upgrade the flame.
If you roll Pyromancer, there's no reason to upgrade int/faith unless you want sorceries or miracles.

in DS1 pyro does not scale with anything other than your pyro flame, which is reinforced like a weapon. you can only reinforce it with certain NPCs though

That's the wrong game. You don't get the flame from the crow. It's from the pyromancer of the great swamp you find in Undead settlement. Snuggly the crow isn't in 3 either. The crow in this one p something. He's in firelink up top. I've actually played the game unlike you.
Can I play a pyro on my first DaSII playthrough? First time playing any Souls game.
I love the aesthetics of it but I'm really confused. Can I get a flame at the start of the game?
I cheesed the dragonrider and got faith to 20 and int to 22, then got the hexer equipment but I don't really like it, it feels like any other spellcaster.
