It's like playing a GTA game. Everybody is an asshole for a while but then the novelty runs out pretty fast.
Populous II is an excellent game and beyond updating graphics and making a few rule tweaks and AI adjustments, there's not much more that can be done with it.
I suppose it doesn't help that Populous DS totally fucked the standard mechanics up.
There needs to be a way to have a game like it made where terraforming isn't so tedious and implicitly demands having the entire world be a single flat plane.

They recently took the original version down from Steam, put the new one up for $5 less. One month later it was on sale for $5.
I don't know why Black & White never made a comeback. The concept was solid, they just made a misstep by focusing on army-building in the second game. I'd buy a third game with more creatures and improved AI in a second.

I just want black and white 1 without the creature and with procedurally generated chain of islands.
As in, you remove the creatures entirely, and add procedurally generated island that chain via vortex.
