>It's a "camera and lock-on work against you" episode
didn't tom cruise fight one of these in that movie and get his ass kicked over and over and over
>Episode
iirc every single boss except the witch in BB fucks up with the lock on camera.
It's amazing how shit it is compared to the Souls games cameras, and they were already bad.
Maybe its because you're leaving lock-on on like a retard? Its a tool. You're not supposed to leave it on and mindlessly run around, you're supposed to activate it when you want your hits to be sure, such as when you get an opportunity to hit a boss after they attack. This thread is probably bait but I thought I would at least try to be somewhat helpful for other posters. But if this isn't bait and you're serious then you're a a genuine fuckwit.
Just don't lock on? You have a longer roll when you don't lock on anyway, and the distance of the roll+the longer I-frames is handy for big bosses anyway
Vicar Amelia is easier with lock on
awful boss with lock on, solid boss without.
Remember kids, if you ever use the Bloodletter, you are a huge faggot
>>333125557
Pretty sure anyone could figure out to not use lock on after their first death. The issue is more of hitting any of the limbs while the boss is in the way because its bigger than the view of the camera when you're in close range.
paarl is the easiest boss, I beat him while underlevelled as fuck. if you had a hard time with paarl you should use your ps4 to kill yourself
>loran camerabeast in that room with the big hole in the middle
Defiled chalice is seriously fucked up how am I supposed to do this shit
>>333128615
Cursed watchdog wasn't too bad when I went through the 2nd time, but Amy is fucking me hard, was there a patch that made it harder?
>fucked Abhorrent Beast up after like, 6 tries
>feeling confident because the next loran chalice boss was a bitch Silver Loran Beast
>all of a sudden Abhorrent Beast again in a dark and small room
JUST
>>333128919
Yeah, 1.06 made the chalice bosses harder. Just go through NG+ and come back later, it has no effect on the dungeons.
>those three hunters in Yahar'gul
>>333122786
I bought this and still haven't played it.
>>333129453
> Agro then all
> run as fast as you can back to the lantern.
> each hunter has a different "leash" length and will turn around at different points.
> exploit this and fight them 1v1.
>>333129578
Lucky bastard. Enjoy the best game of the last 5 years. Dont spoil yourself, dont use a guide or watch le funny youtubers playing it.
>lose to Rom like eight times
>getting frustrated
>just start fighting the little spiders out of frustration
>boss fight is easy as pie
I'm a fucking idiot with this game
>>333129921
I had to kill every single spider before I could beat Rom the first time. I find it interesting how different people find success with different strategies,
>>333130840
First time I beat him after two previous tries, I had bolt paper on, then dashed past the itty bitty babies and slashed at rom twice then rolled out. Repeated for the remainder.
>using lock on in every fight
i'm a souls newb and even I figured out pretty quickly that you aren't supposed to use lock on for the bigger enemies
I hate how everything has to be so fuzzy this generation. Most bloodborne bosses are just giant hairballs, the last guardian looks fucking wierd and the newest games all have hair that looks like complete ass. I know that this is a step into the future but god damn does it look like ass.
>>333132243
We're in that awkward transitional period between realistic hair and awkward fake hair.
New player here. Are the saw spear and ludwig's blade supposed to be amazing at everything or am I missing something here?
>>333123042
lol
>tfw didn't find paarl until after killing the one reborn
>>333128919
> not using memeblade or executioners gloves
If you're a strfag then just force the jump and charge r2 the head. When you get the hang of it you can do it flawless
>beat this vaati
>>333132364
It's always gonna be awkward .
>>333132535
No that's pretty much it outside of specialized builds
>>333132980
what in the living fuck is this
>>333122786
I don't know if this is a good example though, you can easily beat paarl with lock-on. Run under, one two, back off, repeat until next phase, and then just wail on him because there's not much he can do with the constant staggers. Pretty sure I did it with lock-on too.
>>333132535
All the weapons are fully viable, but those 2 are some of the easiest to use.
Axe is also pretty brokenly over powered since the 2-handed Charged R2 can spin2win you through every single mob in the game.
>>333133210
that's what you'd look like in the vacuum of space.
>>333129921
It took me like 6 or 7 tries, but I managed to just bum rush Rom and ignore the little spiders with excessive rolling. I figured he would just spawn more so there wasn't a point in killing them.
