I much prefer the new art to their older deviant-art tier garbage but I didn't buy the first game and I'm not buying this one so I have no idea why they're making stylistic changes that anger their actual customers to please people like me who are not customers.
I hope it pans out for them because I genuinely think this is a fucking complete improvement, but all I've seen is pushback from their community.
