Great Game.

Need more porn or Ridelle or the twins.
>>
Puzzles were a bit easy. Story was decent. Jean is the cutest.
>>
It was pretty good. Has the most extreme moment I've ever seen from either series about halfway through, it's retconned later but holy shit when it happened I stood up yelling OH GOD OH GOD

9/10, if you like either series you're in for a treat.
>>
There's a cutscene of Layton sword fighting suits of armor and it's badass af
>>
Definitely is more extreme than any Layton game, but I guess it is rated T.

It's a great game and really fun story if you love both franchises. People aren't kidding when they say the ending was stupid but it doesn't make the rest of the game bad.

Definitely try it.

A game where Layton outshines Wright in every part of the game.

Wright: "I figured it out the twist!"
Layton: "Oh i already knew what it was."

That and typical Layton-style ending.

The concept art looks good.

It's a decent non canon adventure that combines the typical playstyles of both games

>A game where Layton outshines Wright in every part of the game.

That's not true. Layton wasn't involved in Case 1 and Case 3's trial at all.

HOLY SHIT THAT LAYTON

Where do I sign up for him to fuck me
>>
Didn't really have any expectations going in to it and ended up having fun playing it

>>333114597
Is the ending actually typical of Layton games? I'm more familiar with the Ace Attorney series and never played much of the Layton ones. Thought I should pick up one of em someday and finish it.

It has a lot of very good parts. But the 3rd act falls apart very quickly.

>The Mystery behind the plot is literally Layton 1 + 2 + 3 "it was all machines/secret towns" fused into one.
>Easier Puzzles yet Court Cases are still just as difficult
>The one interesting puzzle is where the key to the door that had a contradiction in itself.
^ This was a real downer because I expected all future puzzles to be this complex, but this was the only puzzle of its nature.

Regardless it's pretty good. I'd say for any newcomers to play this game first if they are interested in Professor Layton. Then the others.
>>
It's really fun.

The ending is kind of stupid but the game does a good job at blending the play styles of both games very well. However, I felt they made Phoenix come off as being too clueless.
>>

Very typical
Anyone who's played layton wouldn't have been very surprised by that ending
>>
>>333115378
The ending is very typical. But in this case, it was too typical to almost being a downright parody.

The other Layton games handle their twists with more grace and believably.

What gives? I can't see what this post says.

Incidentally, those happen to be the best two cases
>>
I just got it today after having it on my eShop wishlist for half a year. I've only played the first Layton game, but so far it's been pretty fun. Phoenix sounds a little flat though.

I've been missing puzzles from time to time though; is there a place where I can play the ones I've missed?
>>
really fun game.

personally i enjoyed that we managed to get a setting we wouldn't normally get in ace attorney, i would put some of the cases above some int eh main series. the idea of magic being used as evidence was pretty neat. puzzles were pretty easy though.

the librarian girl iirc
>>
Loved it personally.
>>
Great game, but the ending really sours the experience, in my opinion.

I know Layton games have pretty ridiculous solutions for the main mystery of the games, but this one is just pure BS. Shame, rest of the game was pretty good.
>>
It was a Layton story that was written like a Ace Attorney story. I kind of wish they'd also do the reverse, get the Layton writers to do a mostly AA-centric crossover developed by the AA team.
