I really liked Yume Nikki when I first played it, but while I thought the atmospheric nature of the game was cool as hell after a while I found myself just wondering where the fuck haven't I been already.
The worst was the maps that loop around on themselves. Without some form of the boring "walk all the way right until you see the same shit, walk down ten steps, repeat forever" it was too easy to miss shit. And god help you if you didn't just look up where the bicycle was.
But hey, opinions, man. We should at least be agreed Ib deserves a spot on that list.

Well, puzzles and plunges are fun, I don't see a reason to turn them off. But battles can fuck you up. They feel kinda repetitive by the end of 25th hour so I'm okay with this option.
