Who else would buy an NX for a sequel alone?

idk I found the artic russian animals to be boring, especially their music I found it to be boring no matter how good David Wise is. It was a nice change of pace and a improvement over the shitty tikis but for a third game I'd like a more dark and stylized approach like the first 3, the game did look beautiful but it wasnt exactly DKC in 3D if you get what i'm saying
and the kremlins were more cool, and idk what else they could pull of since they keep replacing them each game, maybe enemy monkeys fighting for the island?

I loved the Retro DK games and DKC in general, but I'd love to see them branch out into other genres besides pure platforming.
I guess kart-racing might be out of the question, but maybe something in the vein of a beat em up?
At least they aren't cranking out three of them a generation like they did with Metroid Prime.

The framerate blows chunks, but I think that's about it.
This game was fucking amazing, but I've had enough Donkey Kong for now. I'd rather have Retro do something new. I don't even want them to return to Metroid, take on another franchise or hell, let them make an original IP.
I wouldn't mind another David Wise soundtrack though, god damn he's a genius.
