In vs Zeon the invincibility frames from getting knocked down is shorter than vs Zeta. Meaning you can chain another hit if you or the member is fast enough. In vs Zeta once you get knocked back you're invincible until you recover

Its true faggot. It does change gameplay. In zeta when you knock down the enemy you fly away to get some distance and let them recover. In zeon you get the other option of going in for another potential hit

They're not in english, but the menus are pretty simple to navigate with a translation guide. I played Battle Universe on the PSP a while back and had a blast, only thing that I needed to refer back to often was the weapon customization translations. All the mission objectives are clearly visually defined, and if you've watched the shows then you have a good idea what's going on story-wise at any given point

Very satisfying, especially once you master some EX moves so you can use them with any weapon loadout. The only issue is the enemies have metric fucktons of health as you progress.

You can do just fine with a ranged build in Breaker 3.
Having a lot of fun with Breaker 3. Only problem is that to actually deal decent damage to the ridiculous health pools of enemies, you kind of need to focus on upgrading one weapon and MS part set, which means you don't get to experiment as much with different parts as I'd like. It's a shame because there are lots of weapon types that all seem to have different EX moves, most of which I haven't tried yet.

You do, but the weapon type you get the best +bonus damage stats for will be the best regardless. As far as I've heard the upgrade system in 2 worked quite differently, too. I run out of money pretty quickly in this game.
