The XL Pack is actually not a bad price, all things considered.
I wasn't going to buy any of the guest fighters (because I don't think guest characters make sense as DLC) but since the value of the XL Pack overrides the value of just buying the MK universe DLC characters separately, I can't really argue with it.
Tried out the new guys at a friends place. Wanted to like Alien the most, but ended up liking Leatherface more.

Well it was at a fucking tournament grand finals, so yes.
It wouldn't be a tournament if no one was signing up.
The biggest crime it committed was having unbearably bad online play. If the online play wasn't total shit then I bet a lot more people would have stayed with the game.
Killer Instinct is a better game
