there's quite a lot of things to say, but ATK+SPD is most important, and get Flame Dragon skill for quicker movement
Final Sprint is the most broken passive, if you have 333 in a stat, it'll eventually hit 999 by just waiting a few turns
Solid Mind is great if willing to give up normal movement and going to move only with Flame Dragon/Charge/Aerial Charge.
Can also play more normally by using Final Attack and part sealing and keep killing girls to weaken trillion

I've barely dented the HP so far, already spent 2 chances with one retreat and one ending in trillion crossing the line. Nobody's died yet, but I'm running out of "chances", whatever that means.

Final Attack damage is actually gets pretty high, and increases with successive uses. Finishing off trillion with it nets you an extra scene too.
Formula all stats combined except hp/mp, multiplied by 9,999,999 -- then the 2nd time it'll be 1.5x that, then 1.6x, 1.7.. In challenge mode my cerberus barely finished off the last ~80B on final form with it.. thought I'd have to go on a 3rd overlord
But sealing parts may be better if far off (especially if had low stats), since it makes trillion pretty passive the next rounds. Extending preparation period comes to mind too.
What are the essential Vita games? I don't like story heavy linear JRPGs but DRPGs are my jam

while not sealed, getting 900+ speed is your best bet really, which final sprint lv3 gets you easily if you wait a little near entrance before getting close
then you can flame dragon out of most AoEs
having a bunch of devil envoys also reduce pressure on you a bit too
having a Range Seal helps since you can keep some distance
If you up def/res too, Final Sprint will likely get them to 999 too and the biggest AoE won't do much damage (like 10k) -- the other moves are still nasty though.. and not much you can do about the miasma

One thing I feel like no one knows about is overkilling Mokujin
it's best to weaken him until near death, then retreat to the entrance to prepare passives (like wait for final sprint, even if it's just lv1, use ATK extract too)
then go land your strongest final blow
it won't be like pic related on a first playthrough, but you're still likely to end up with 3x more exp than normal

typically I save up affection so I don't need to use actual MP -- doing affection events only after retreating from Trillion helps since retreating halves it
then you can potentially end up with 150,000K+ for Final Form assuming you didn't mess up on dragon form
But yeah, MP pots were alright for the little I used of them .. at least the medium/full ones, small is not worth it

Good for the genre. Actually it's unique enough that it's hard to find similar games for comparison.
Officially it's around 20 to 30 hours for first run. A lot depends on your playstyle. How fast you can pickup the tricks, how many times you reset, where you listen to the voice acting etc.

It was good. It will probably be the best Vita exclusive from now until the end of time.

It's rather simplistic in everything it's trying to do, the princess maker sim is kinda barebones where you mainly just have training, sleeping, gifting items and random events here and there. The combat is just roguelike fields, the mokujin/Trillion fights are conducted on a giant rectangular field devoid of anything but units, and there's a training dungeon that is randomly generated but is very short - about 120 turn time limit to run through.
It's not bad, I can see some people wanting a bit more out of it, but it's easily some of compile heart's least obnoxious character writing to date, since there's quite a bit of it too, and the gameplay that is there isn't bad, the trillion fights will brickwall anyone mentally retarded since you can't mash X to win and have to constantly reposition yourself.

Dark Revival would be okay to keep Trillion busy like a better envoy, but part sealing accomplish that better.
